Hey, thanks for stopping by this page!

Honestly, getting messages from readers is one of the best parts of running Marathi Space. So if you’ve got something to say — a question, an idea, a recipe that didn’t go as planned, or even just a hello — please do write in. I’d love to hear from you.

The easiest way to reach me

Email. Old school, but it works best.

👉 shubhamnimbalkar54@gmail.com

I read every email myself, no assistants, no auto-replies. Usually I get back to people within a day or two on weekdays. Weekends I’m usually offline, so if you write on a Saturday, you might hear from me on Monday or Tuesday. Just so you’re not waiting around wondering.

What can you write to me about?

Pretty much anything related to the blog, really. But if you want a rough idea, here are the kinds of emails I get most often:

  • “I tried your recipe and it didn’t turn out, what went wrong?” — totally fair, ask away
  • “Can I use X instead of Y?” — almost always yes, but happy to confirm
  • “Please post the recipe for ___” — recipe requests are honestly my favourite
  • “I think there’s a typo in your post” — please tell me, I’ll fix it the same day
  • “Made this last night, it was amazing!” — these make my whole week
  • Brand/collab stuff, guest post ideas, etc.

And if it doesn’t fit into any of these — write anyway. I’m not picky.

One small thing that helps me a lot

If you’re writing about a specific recipe, just paste the link to the post in your email. I publish a lot of recipes and sometimes I genuinely can’t tell which one you’re talking about from the name alone (especially when there are different versions of the same dish). The link saves us both a back-and-forth.

About health and diet questions

This part I have to mention, even though I don’t enjoy sounding formal. I’m a home cook, not a doctor or a dietitian. So if you’re asking whether a particular recipe is okay for diabetes, pregnancy, weight loss, BP issues, or any specific health condition — please talk to your doctor, not me. I genuinely don’t want to give you the wrong advice on something this important.

If you have food allergies, double-check the ingredient list before cooking anything from the blog. There’s a longer note about this on the Disclaimer page if you want to read it.

Where I’m writing from

Marathi Space is run out of my home in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. The blog is in Marathi, but feel free to write to me in Marathi, Hindi, or English — whichever feels easier. I’ll reply in whatever language you write in.

For brands and businesses

I do work with brands, but only when the fit makes sense. So if you’re reaching out about a collab, please mention:

  • What your brand is and what you’d like to do
  • Whether it’s paid (and if so, a rough budget)
  • Any timeline you’re working with

Saves us a lot of back-and-forth. And just so you know — I only promote things I’d actually use in my own kitchen. No exceptions, sorry.

One last thing

Please don’t send the same email three times if I haven’t replied in a few hours. I’ll get to it, I promise. And if you’re sending spam, promotional pitches, or “we’ll improve your SEO” emails — those go straight to the trash, sorry not sorry.

For everything else — write in. Always happy to chat.

Thanks again,
Shubham
